| During the month of October,
REALTOR®
organizations across Pennsylvania once again will be
participating in REALTORS®
Reach Out. This campaign began in 2008, and it is designed to
showcase REALTOR®
involvement in the community.

As part of this statewide
campaign, GHAR will be hosting several opportunity for members
to get involved and help out in their communities.
First, GHAR will be hosting a
"Fill the House"
donation drive to collect
needed items for area organizations, including:
In addition to the "Fill the House" drive, GHAR
also will be hosting a Work Day
to
give REALTORS®
an opportunity to go out to organizations in our area and help
with various projects. |

can get involved with REALTORS®
Reach Out. We encourage you to learn more about these efforts
and to sign up to participate! |

"Fill the House"
Donation Drive |
|
Beginning Wednesday, September 1 through Wednesday, October 20 the
Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS®, as part
of the REALTORS® Reach Out Campaign, will be
collecting a variety of items to be donated to local area
organizations.
Located in the GHAR Office Lobby is a
large cardboard house that needs to be filled! All the items
listed below are items requested by local organizations in
central PA!
Please review the list below of the top 20
items needed by these organizations. All donations can be
dropped off to GHAR between regular business hours of 8:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, between September 1 and
October 20. |

Personal Hygiene Products (Deodorant,
Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Body Wash, Mouthwash, etc.) |

Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Dryer Sheets (Regular
and High Efficiency) |

Bath Towels and Washcloths |
|
New and Unused Bedding (Twin and Full)
(Pillows, Blankets, Sheets) |

New and Unused Socks and Underwear (Mens,

donations collected will be delivered to organizations on
Friday, October 22, as part of the REALTORS®
Reach Out Work Day! |

Central Pennsylvania area by volunteering to help complete home
improvement projects, meal preparation and cooking for families
in need, cleaning and organizing area organizations, and packing
and delivering of care items to local shelters and individuals. |

Region (Exact location/s to be determined)
GHAR is planning to work with
the following organizations: Bethesda Mission (Harrisburg);
Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties
(Carlisle); Downtown Daily Bread (Harrisburg); Ronald McDonald
House (Hershey); and Safe Harbour (Carlisle). |

9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Why:
REALTORS®
Reach Out is a campaign of the Pennsylvania Association of
REALTORS®
that will showcase REALTORS®
and the contributions they make to their local communities.

associations across the state will take part in community
outreach projects. |
