GHAR serves the needs of our commercial members as they shape and unify
the commercial real estate brokerage and service industry.
Commercial
REALTORฎ members develop, buy, sell, lease, and trade
commercial, industrial, retail, and warehouse property. Some commercial
members may also be property managers. Our
Affiliate members supply
services to the commercial/industrial market.
The Industrial Commercial and Investment Council
(ICI) was formed in October, 1993 to help GHAR better serve our commercial
members. The purpose of the ICI is to provide for the education, exchange
of information, mutual cooperation, and fellowship of those REALTORSฎ
and Affiliate members having interest in the industrial, commercial and
investment segments of the real estate field. In March 2010, the ICI
was
accredited by the national REALTORSฎ Commercial Alliance
(RCA).
The ICI meets most months,
usually on the first Thursday of each
month
for a breakfast meeting. The ICI is led by a volunteer
Board of Directors.

Please plan to attend the inaugural ICI Signature Event
on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the State Museum of
Pennsylvania. This unique event will provide attendees
with the opportunity to network with your colleagues and
to explore all that is offered at the State Museum.
Commercial REALTORSฎ and affiliate members
from neighboring REALTORฎ associations also
will be invited to attend this event.
Invitations will be mailed in March.

PAR, through its commercial group the
Commercial, Industrial and Investment Committee (CI&I) seeks
to further the interest of the members specializing in
commercial, industrial and investment properties through
educational conferences, seminars, research, and clinics on the
subjects of developing, selling, leasing, managing, or
exchanging commercial, industrial and investment properties.

CI&I launched its own Commercial Information Exchange (CIE).
The Pennsylvania Commercial Information Exchange is designed to
provide additional services to commercial members across the
Commonwealth.

The REALTORSฎ Commercial Alliance (RCA) NARs
commercial division represents the interest of commercial
members, as well as its affiliated commercial organizations such
as the CCIM Institute, the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), the
Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the REALTORSฎ
Land Institute (RLI), and the Society of Industrial and Office
REALTORSฎ (SIOR). The RCA provides a number of
services such as educational conferences and seminars,
publications geared towards commercial REALTORSฎ, and
government affairs advocacy, to name a few. The RCA also
