Join GHAR

Founded in 1916, the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® has a membership of over 1,600 REALTORS® in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry and portions of other surrounding counties. It is the goal of the leadership of the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® to provide members the professional support they need to become financially independent and to make their membership a positive experience.

REALTOR® membership in GHAR automatically affiliates you with the Pennsylvania and National Associations of REALTORS®.

There are two main types of membership:

REALTOR® Membership Application - includes Residential and Commercial Licensees.  Once you have completed the application, please click here to download the New Member Orientation Flyer and submit with your application and application fee.  All new members MUST attend the New Member Orientation within two offerings.  If you have additional questions, please email Martha Cuneo at Martha@ghar.info.

Affiliate membership - is open to any individual who does not have an active real estate license but whose business provides services, supplies, or is otherwise related to or interested in the real estate industry. This includes property managers, home inspectors, banks, mortgage companies, etc. Click here to see a listing of our current Affiliate members.

Brokers....If you wish to apply for Broker membership, please call the office at 364-3200 since your application is more involved. 

Attention Brokers and Managers:
In order for all members to receive ALL National, State and Local Association of REALTORS® information, mailing and benefits; it is extremely important that the GHAR Firm and License Change of Status Form is completed and submitted as soon as a change in status is made.  A form MUST be completed for ALL changes.  Names will only be removed or added to a license roster upon receipt of the form.  Please note it is illegal for non-members to use the term REALTOR®.
