Mission Statement

The mission of the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS^® is to serve real estate professionals through a commitment to promote ethical and competent real estate practices, to support the preservation of real property rights, to provide leadership in adapting to advances in the industry, and to enhance each members' opportunity for success.  

Since 1916, GHAR has been working to further the interests of its members - while providing meaningful business services that will help them succeed both financially and professionally.

Becoming a member entitles you to use the term REALTOR^® - which means you subscribe to the National Association's strict Code of Ethics. 

There are two main types of membership. REALTOR^® membership and Affiliate membership.

REALTOR^® membership is open to both residential and commercial licensees. Real Estate licensees joining the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS^® are automatically affiliating with the Pennsylvania and National Associations of REALTORS^®.

Affiliate membership is open to any individual who does not have an active real estate license, but whose business provides services, supplies or is otherwise related to or interested in the real estate industry.

REALTORS^® and our affiliate members are partners working hand-in-hand in an ever changing marketplace. Affiliates provide the full span of services required to make buying and selling real estate more convenient and affordable for REALTOR^® members, their clients and customers.

REALTORS^® Core Health Insurance Program
