Welcome to the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Web Site 

Founded in 1916, the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® was originally called the Harrisburg Real Estate Board. With a membership of over 1,700 REALTORS® in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, and portions of other surrounding counties, the Association prides itself on being an important source of education and information for the real estate industry.

Locally, REALTORS® are members of the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® and also affiliated with both the Pennsylvania and National Association of REALTORS®, one of the largest trade associations in the country.

All three levels of the Association promote the industry professionalism and provide buyers and sellers with knowledgeable and ethical agents.

GHAR’s own Jim Helsel has announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidential election at the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Jim, the current NAR treasurer, is still active on both the local and state level. Throughout his entire career, he has long been a strong advocate for REALTOR® interests. He says his run for the NAR presidency is driven by his commitment to the association and its members. Please help to spread the word to REALTORS® across the country.
